Established in 2005, Kanya Animation Co., Ltd. is an independent animation studio based in Thailand, specializing in 2D animation and original intellectual property (IP) development.
For more than 15 years, Kanya Animation has developed and produced original animation projects from concept and story development through character design, storyboarding, animation, FX and compositing.
Today, the studio focuses strongly on Original IP Creation and Ownership, developing projects across feature films, short animation, series and other media, with potential for international co-production, distribution, licensing and adaptation.
Kanya Animation combines a 2D artistic approach with modern digital production, primarily using Toon Boom Harmony and selectively integrating 3D techniques where appropriate.
The studio’s works have received international festival selections, nominations, awards and recognition across Asia, Europe and North America.
Kanya Animation is open to collaboration with international producers, distributors, broadcasters, investors, studios and IP partners seeking distinctive independent animation from Thailand.
